Glassmaker Vittorio Livi had a vision: glass should be a focal point in design. In 1973, he founded FIAM and released the Onda pouf. In 1984, FIAM produced the first table made from a single sheet of glass; and in 1987, announced the iconic curved Ghost armchair alongside designer Cini Boeri. Livi continuously works with numerous prestigious international designers on risk-taking pieces ranging from mirrors, chairs, consoles, tables, shelves and cabinets to accessories. Each is meticulously produced through industrial processes and by master craftsmen, who bend, fuse, carve, and silver-coat.
